RGServers was founded in August of 2008 by brothers, Dustin and Tyler Madison. The company stems from an old and current gaming community called Respected Gaming which is the meaning of RG. Before RG, they were involved in e-sports before it became popular and played in competitive gaming leagues such as TeamWarfare League & CEVO with the DreamTeam Clan as DT|Maddog and DT|Bulldog, the team was ranked in top 1 and 2 positions in CoD4 ladders during the game’s life but the team disbanded later in 2009 due to players moving to different games or getting busy with other things and Dustin and Tyler started their own community: Respected Gaming .:RG:.
During its first years, RGServers was given its breath of online life by Tyler with a rudimentary introduction page and as time went by, the company website is what it is today because of him. The motivation behind starting RGServers stemmed from the key to providing stable servers for those to use from a community standpoint and in 2009, Dustin and Tyler made the move to start hosting voice solutions for gamers around the globe with the use of TeamSpeak and Mumble through a temporary company name, RGHosting which changed to RGServers at a later time as it fit the company more appropriately. At first, their licensing fees were free for all but in 2014, TeamSpeak Systems GmbH changed licensing agreements to combat abuse so RGServers changed to an Authorized TeamSpeak Hosting Provider (ATHP) and moved to a e-commerce platform. Their choices have led them to get an additional 4 dedicated servers in California, Texas and New York while boasting 40+ Gbps DDoS Protection* along with outstanding support, instant setup and 1-on-1 personalized support with each client. RGServers now has clients in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Sweden, United Kingdom and Portugal.
